Today's Job Market
We are living during a time of great economic difficulty. Job seekers are having more and more trouble finding decent paying work. Even people who are well-qualified for postions are being turned down jobs because there are people who are better-qualified than they are. The times are hard. I think that we all need to remember the importance of networking with coworkers and other people in our profession as well as people outside our profession. It is important for everyone to have friends in "high places." Remember to network and always remember that a quality resume is the key to obtaining a great career. And, don't forget that even though people are having more trouble finding jobs in today's market there will always be a high demand for men and women who are willing to work hard.

3. Don't be overly flowery with the verbiage in your resume.
4. Use font size and format to emphasize important sections or key words.
5. Always make sure your resume and cover letter are formatted similarly (same font especially).
